Furthermore there is a large offer for tennis and golf. In a radius of 100 km can be found 40 fully-equipped golf courses designed to attract year after year the international golf elite with fashionable competitions. Especially Marbella is the ideal destination for a golfing holiday.

The cuisine on the Costa del Sol is influenced by the Mediterranean climate. This means there are plenty of fresh fish, meat dishes and lots of fruit and vegetables. On hot days is served a cold soup called gazpacho giving delicious refreshment. Also typical is air-dried ham and goat and sheep cheese.
